We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager with a strong background in media. The ideal candidate will have experience in media sales, client acquisition, and business development, preferably from reputable media houses. This role requires creating strategic business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships within the media industry. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients and expand business opportunities. Build and nurture relationships with potential clients, primarily in the media sector. Conduct market research to identify new business trends, opportunities, and growth areas. Prepare and deliver compelling pitches to prospective clients to showcase our services. Collaborate with internal teams to meet client needs and exceed expectations. Track and report on sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as required. Identify new business opportunities, including markets, partnerships, and innovative solutions. Generate leads through cold calls, emails, and networking. Meet with clients to understand their needs and provide customized media solutions. Foster long-term client relationships to enhance satisfaction and retention. Create actionable business strategies to drive growth and improve operations. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients in collaboration with internal teams. Stay informed about market trends and business performance. Participate in industry events, seminars, and conferences as needed. Contribute to the overall business development strategy and initiatives. Qualifications: Proven experience in business development or client acquisition within the media industry. Managerial experience with a successful track record of client pitches, especially from renowned TV channels or media houses. Masters degree in Mass Communication or an MBA in Marketing. At least five years of relevant experience in the media sector. Strong drive, initiative, and results-oriented mindset. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities. Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively. Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking skills. Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver results. Prior experience in a start-up environment is a plus. Enthusiastic, professional, and creative with the ability to generate new ideas. Female candidate from PR Agency, Media House, Hospitality Other Details: Working days/hours: Monday-Friday (10:00 AM - 7:00 PM) & Alternate Saturdays. Location: Office-based in Goregaon East, Mumbai, near the railway station. Experience required: Minimum 5 years in media or business development. Salary: Competitive, as per industry standards.
