Position Summary

Business Development Manager (BDM) – Closures Team

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Funnel Management

  • Own and drive the end-to-end closure process from qualified lead engagement to successful enrollment.
  • Monitor key sales metrics including closure rates, average revenue per enrollment, and lead conversion timelines.
  • Ensure high-quality follow-ups, structured objection handling, and personalised sales strategies to maximise conversions.

Team Management

  • Lead and manage a team of BDEs and Team Leads across multiple territories.
  • Coach the team on consultative selling, negotiation, and closing techniques.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
  • Implement and maintain structured closure SOPs, pitch scripts, and objection handling frameworks.
  • Ensure data hygiene and CRM compliance across the team.
  • Identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements to enhance closure efficiency.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Demo conduction team to ensure smooth lead handover.
  • Partner with other teams to provide insights on objections, audience behavior, and closure strategies.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Deliver weekly and monthly reports on closure performance, revenue achievement, and funnel metrics.
  • Forecast revenue based on the current pipeline and set realistic team targets.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in B2C Sales / Business Development, preferably in EdTech / Upskilling / High-ticket B2C industries.
  • Proven experience in team management (BDEs/TLs) with a track record of achieving revenue targets.
  • Strong sales acumen with expertise in closing deals, consultative selling, and objection handling.
  • Excellent communication skills in English + one regional language (Hindi, Gujarati, Odia, Malayalam, Bengali, etc.).
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales dashboards.
  • Highly target-driven, process-oriented, and comfortable working in fast-paced, metric-driven environments.

Work Location & Days

  • Work from

    Madhya Pradesh / West Bengal / Gujarat / Odisha / Kerala

    depending on territory.
  • 6-day working week
  • Training Location : Hyderabad
  • Work Timings : 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
  • No.of Working days / Weekoffs : Rotational (Not on Saturday–Sunday)
