Role Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven professional to lead our Renewable Energy Sales division, focusing on the sale of solar power units to Commercial & Industrial (C&I) customers . The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of selling solar units to third parties under long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) , with a cumulative volume of at least 100 MW or more . The manager will play a key role in expanding our renewable energy footprint from 15 MW to 200 MW over the next 34 years, ensuring profitability and strategic growth across India. Key Responsibilities: Drive the sales of solar units to C&I customers across India. Identify and secure long-term PPAs (Power Purchase Agreements) with third-party buyers, targeting large-scale deals (100 MW and above). Develop and execute mid- and long-term strategies for renewable energy business growth. Identify suitable sites, vendors, EPC partners, and customers to support scalable renewable projects. Oversee project implementation from initiation to commissioning within defined timelines. Perform project analysis, including performance tracking and root cause analysis (RCA) for continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with central and state-level solar and wind energy policies. Candidate Profile: Must-Have Experience: 510 years of hands-on experience in the renewable energy sector. Strong exposure in selling solar units to third-party buyers , especially through long-term PPA agreements . Experience in closing sales of solar power to C&I clients with project sizes of 100 MW or more. Working knowledge of the energy exchange market (IEX, Tata, Reliance, etc.) and EPC project management (50+ MW scale). Education: Engineering degree (preferably Mechanical or Electrical). MBA or M.Com (Engineering background preferred). Skills & Proficiencies: Strong commercial acumen and understanding of solar energy markets. Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. SAP (MM/SD/SCM) and MS Office proficiency. Ability to operate with minimal supervision in a dynamic business environment. Language Preferences: Fluency in English and at least two Indian languages (Tamil, Hindi, Telugu preferred). Location Experience: Experience in managing renewable energy projects in South India is a plus.
