Job Description

Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Market Research

Identify potential clients through research, networking, and market mapping.

Maintain an active pipeline of qualified leads.

Study market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to spot new opportunities.

2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

Approach prospects through calls, emails, meetings, and presentations.

Understand client requirements and propose tailored solutions.

Build and maintain strong, long-term professional relationships with clients.

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing continuous support.

3. Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth

Develop and execute sales plans that align with company goals.

Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and business contracts.

Negotiate pricing and terms to close profitable deals.

4. Collaboration & Coordination

Work closely with the marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

Assist in developing marketing materials, pitch decks, and sales campaigns.

Provide feedback to internal teams based on client interactions and market insights.

5. Reporting & Analytics

Track sales performance using CRM tools.

Prepare weekly and monthly reports on business development activities.

Analyse conversion rates, pipeline status, and market feedback to optimise strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience in business development, sales, or client relations (industry-specific experience is a plus).

Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain professional relationships.

Self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven attitude.

Familiarity with CRM tools and sales software is an advantage.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
