Business development manager

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key client stakeholders in the Electric Vehicles and Battery OEMs industry. This includes understanding the customer's organization, decision-making process, business model, competitive environment, and conducting regular review sessions to drive continuous improvement and innovation. Additionally, you will conduct market research, develop strategic account plans, and identify opportunities for account growth and new business within existing key accounts. Client acquisition and management are crucial aspects of the role, where you will build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, lead negotiations and contract renewals, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. Collaboration with internal teams, such as marketing, product development, and customer support, will be necessary to deliver exceptional service and solutions to key clients. You will also work closely with R&D and operational teams to align business development efforts with product and service innovation and provide market feedback to shape offerings and improvements. Monitoring monthly performance against set targets and taking immediate actions in case of deviations will be part of your responsibilities. Ideal qualifications for this role include an MBA or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering, along with 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the Automotive or Automotive chemicals or Recycling industry. A strong understanding of the battery recycling process, industry regulations, and market dynamics is required, along with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. A proven track record of managing client relationships and closing deals, coupled with a competitive nature and willingness to travel as needed, are essential qualities for success in this position.,
