Position Overview:

Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Market Penetration:

    Develop new business opportunities within Hyperscale Data Centers, Telecom Equipment Manufacturers (TEMs), and service providers.
  • Customer Relationship Management:

    Leverage your network to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key industry decision-makers.
  • Solution-Oriented Selling:

    Understand customer system-level challenges and collaborate with engineering to propose effective SiP-based solutions.
  • Market Intelligence & Strategy:

    Monitor market trends and competitor activity to provide critical feedback that guides our product roadmap.
  • Technical Liaison:

    Serve as the primary commercial bridge between customers and internal engineering teams, translating market needs into product specifications.
  • Sales Cycle Management:

    Manage the entire sales pipeline, from lead generation and qualification to contract negotiation and design wins.
  • Cross-functional Leadership:

    Work with marketing to create and execute effective go-to-market strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Deep Industry Experience:

    • Mandatory:

      10+ years in business development or technical sales, selling hardware or systems

      directly to the data center or telecom industries.

    • Must possess a demonstrable track record of closing deals and a strong, active network with Tier-1 operators, OEMs, or providers.
  • Technical Aptitude:

    • Solid understanding of data center and telecom network architecture.
    • Familiarity with high-speed connectivity trends and challenges (bandwidth, power, density).
    • Ability to grasp and articulate the benefits of System in Package (SiP) technology.
    • Note:

      Specific optical transceiver knowledge is a plus but

      not required.

Additional Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
  • A strategic thinker with a proactive, results-driven "hunter" mentality.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Bangalore, with the ability to travel for business.
