Job Description

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating, managing, and successfully closing high-value corporate interior fit-out contracts within Bangalore. This role requires a proactive, relationship-driven individual who can leverage existing networks and identify new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition:

    Identify and pursue new corporate clients, PMCs, and architectural firms for interior fit-out projects.
  • Relationship Management:

    Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in corporate real estate, administration, and procurement departments.
  • Proposal Development:

    Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) that address client needs effectively.
  • Sales Targets:

    Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by closing high-value projects.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination:

    Collaborate closely with design and project management teams to develop customized interior solutions aligned with client requirements.
  • Market Research:

    Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to identify new opportunities and strategies.
  • Negotiation:

    Lead contract negotiations ensuring favorable terms while maintaining client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Reporting:

    Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and reports for management review.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 45 years of proven sales experience in commercial interiors, fit-outs, or the construction industry.
  • Established and strong network within Bangalores corporate, PMC, and architectural communities.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully sell and close projects worth 50 Lakhs and above.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and negotiate effectively at senior levels.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software is desirable.
