Job Description

Key Responsibilities:1. Business Development & Sales:

  • Identify potential clients in infrastructure, real estate, transportation, energy, and industrial sectors.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to meet sales targets and expand the customer base.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor offerings, and client needs.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling technical sales presentations and proposals.

2. Client Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Understand client requirements and align company offerings to meet those needs.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the client and the technical team.

3. Proposal & Bid Management:

  • Lead the preparation of EOIs, RFQs, RFPs, and tender submissions.
  • Coordinate with the technical, estimation, and finance teams to create competitive proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with clients and partners.
  • To assist & handle the invoicing process and payment follow-ups as per the time line.

4. Strategic Planning & Reporting:

  • Analyze performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of sales initiatives.
  • Provide regular reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Contribute to strategic planning sessions and suggest improvements to service offerings.

5. Collaboration with Technical Teams:

  • Collaborate with civil engineers, project managers, and subject matter experts to tailor solutions for clients.
  • Attend technical meetings and site visits to understand project scope and feasibility.

Key Services to Promote:

  • Geotechnical investigations & soil testing
  • Structural health monitoring & assessment
  • Geophysical Surveying and mapping (GPR, Topographic, ERT, SRT, etc.)
  • Civil/structural design consultancy

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of civil engineering services and technical terminology
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with public procurement and government tendering processes
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and business proposal software
  • Ability to travel frequently and work independently
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building client relationships
  • 3–4 years of experience in technical sales/business development in the field of civil engineering

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
