Role OverviewThe Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of the lighting industry or B2B sales environment. Key Responsibilities Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities in commercial, retail, and residential sectors. Develop and implement growth strategies aligned with company goals. Build strong relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, and distributors. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients. Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to align on market needs and trends. Negotiate and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets. Represent BRIGHTISTRY LIGHTING at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management. Background in lighting, electrical, architecture, or interior design industry is a strong plus. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. Self-motivated, target-driven, and highly organized.
