Business Development Lead

Job Purpose

The Business Development (BD) Specialist will lead and support MTCSs business development activities in coal, iron ore, and mineral exploration services. This role is pivotal in identifying new opportunities, building strategic relationships across the mining and mineral industry, and ensuring the effective execution of consultancy assignments for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive business development initiatives for MTCS in mining consultancy, exploration, and emerging areas.
• Scout active tenders, RFQs, and new projects relevant to MTCSs services.
• Engage with service providers and partners to explore synergies and collaboration opportunities globally.
• Prepare and submit bids, ensuring compliance with technical and financial requirements.
• Present business opportunities, strategies, and updates to senior management.
• Provide technical support in pre-development activities for coal mining projects.
• Prepare, review, and finalize contracts as per agreed terms.
• Develop impactful presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain a structured data repository of opportunities and deliver insightful analysis for management decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education:

  B.E / B.Tech (Mining) or M.Sc. (Geology) from a reputed institute, plus MBA.

• Experience:

  15+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Proven track record in bidding and bid submissions for coal mining, MDO, and commercial coal mining projects.
• Strong expertise in preparing and reviewing financial models for mining projects.
