As a Business Development Intern at Augurs Technologies, you will have the opportunity to support the sales and business development team in various tasks to help identify new business opportunities, communicate with clients, and learn about managing relationships in the IT services industry. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Assisting in identifying potential business leads through research and outreach - Supporting the team in preparing sales presentations and proposals - Helping maintain client databases and update CRM tools - Participating in client communication and follow-up activities - Learning to use bidding portals and assisting in submitting project proposals - Supporting market research and competitor analysis - Helping prepare reports on sales activities and leads generated - Collaborating with team members to meet business goals To be considered for this role, we are looking for a candidate who meets the following qualifications: - Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, Marketing, or related fields - Strong interest in sales, marketing, and business development - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Basic understanding of technology and IT services is a plus - Eagerness to learn about sales cycles and client management - Familiarity with bidding platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer.com is a bonus, but not mandatory In addition to the qualifications mentioned above, we are looking for candidates who possess the following qualities: - Proactive and motivated to learn - Good organizational and time-management skills - Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team - Willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities At Augurs Technologies, we offer: - Practical experience in business development within the IT sector - Mentorship and skill-building opportunities - Chance to secure a full-time opportunity based on internship performance - Opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment Please note that this is an internship position with a duration of 6 months and the work location is in-person in Lucknow.
