Business Development Head

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition & Market Penetration

    : Identify and engage companies in need of plastic injection moulding services, with a specific focus on sectors such as

    electronics, automotive, toys, household items, and appliances

    .
  • Strategic Business Development

    : Formulate and execute robust growth strategies that are closely aligned with the company's manufacturing capabilities and expansion plans.
  • P&L Management

    : Own the

    profit and loss accountability

    for the injection moulding division, ensuring aggressive revenue targets are met, costs are controlled, and margins are continuously improved.
  • Solutions Selling

    : Present tailored moulding solutions based on intricate client requirements, effectively leveraging our vertically integrated production strengths.
  • Relationship Building

    : Develop and maintain strong, long-term partnerships with key decision-makers at client organizations.
  • Revenue and Profit Growth

    : Drive substantial revenue growth through strategic negotiations, optimal pricing strategies, and effective client retention initiatives.
  • Cross-functional Coordination

    : Collaborate seamlessly with production, R&D, and operations teams to ensure projects consistently meet stringent quality and delivery standards.
  • Market Insights & Lead Generation

    : Identify new business opportunities through comprehensive market research, active participation in trade events, and strategic digital outreach.
  • End-to-End Project Oversight

    : Manage the complete business development cycle, from initial outreach to successful project delivery.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Experience

    :

    8-15 years in business development

    , with at least

    3-5 years in a leadership role involving P&L responsibility

    .
  • Technical Knowledge

    : Strong understanding of

    plastic materials, moulding processes, and manufacturing cycles

    .
  • Industry Familiarity

    : Proven experience in sectors such as

    electronics manufacturing, automotive parts, and consumer goods

  • Commercial Acumen

    : Proficiency in contract negotiations, accurate sales forecasting, and effective client account management.
  • Leadership

    : Demonstrated ability to lead a business development function and collaborate effectively across various departments.
  • Education

    : Bachelor's degree in

    Engineering, Business
