Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Business Development Executive with hands-on expertise in bidding on Upwork and other freelancing platforms. You will be responsible for generating qualified leads and converting them into sales, primarily for digital marketing services.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and bid on relevant digital marketing projects on Upwork (SEO, PPC, SMM, content marketing, etc.).
• Write compelling proposals tailored to client requirements.
• Communicate with potential clients via Upwork chat, Zoom/Skype, or email to understand their needs and pitch solutions.
• Maintain a high conversion rate from bidding to closure.
• Build and manage a pipeline of qualified leads.
• Collaborate with the delivery team to ensure proper project handoff and client satisfaction.
• Monitor Upwork account performance, track bidding effectiveness, and refine strategy accordingly.
• Explore other freelancing platforms (Freelancer, Fiverr, etc.) to expand opportunities.
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in bidding on Upwork for digital marketing projects.
• Understanding of digital marketing services: SEO, SEM, SMM, Google Ads, Meta Ads, email marketing, etc.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to understand client briefs and craft custom responses.
• Knowledge of proposal formatting, pricing strategy, and project scoping.
• Self-motivated and target-oriented mindset.
• Familiarity with CRM tools or lead tracking systems is a plus.
