Job Title: Business Development Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive Business Development Executive to support the global expansion of our engineering services. This role involves identifying potential clients, setting up meetings for senior leadership during business development tours, managing sales coordination, and ensuring effective follow-ups for lead conversion. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in both client-facing activities and backend coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers, target industries, and competitors.
  • Generate qualified leads through LinkedIn, email campaigns, CRM platforms, databases etc.
  • Maintain and grow a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Reach out to potential clients via cold calling, email, and social media to introduce TPES services.
  • Assist in preparing customized proposals, RFQs, and quotations in coordination with pre-sales and estimation teams.

2. Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers (CEOs, Project Heads, Engineering Managers, etc.).
  • Provide timely updates and follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction and drive repeat business.

3. Meeting Setup & Business Tour Support

  • Proactively coordinate and schedule meetings for the Business Development Head during business tours.
  • Prepare meeting briefs, client background notes, and relevant sales collateral.
  • Ensure post-meeting follow-ups, proposal submissions, and action item tracking.
  • Maintain tour calendars and assist in travel coordination where required.

4. Reporting & Coordination

  • Maintain accurate records of interactions, leads, and sales funnel activity in CRM tools.
  • Provide weekly/monthly reports on progress, challenges, and sales forecasts.
  • Coordinate with internal engineering, marketing, and proposal teams for client requirements and timely submissions.

5. Marketing Support

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support campaigns, events, webinars, and content development (case studies, brochures, presentations).
  • Provide client feedback to marketing for strategy refinement.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and target-driven attitude
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
  • Good understanding of engineering concepts and B2B project lifecycle (preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • MBA in Marketing/Sales (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Prior experience in sales/business development for engineering services, BIM, EPC, or construction tech industries
