Job Description

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth through effective lead generation, client engagement, and sales conversion strategies. This role involves direct interaction with potential clients, providing product demonstrations, and maintaining strong customer relationships, along with coordinating internally with implementation and support teams to ensure client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Prospecting:

* Identify and generate new business opportunities through various channels including online research, referrals, industry networking, and lead portals.

* Qualify leads based on defined criteria and maintain an up-to-date pipeline.

Client Engagement & Communication:

* Conduct outbound calls and follow-ups with prospects to understand their needs and introduce our software solutions.

* Provide product demonstrations (online and in-person) tailored to client requirements.

* Effectively communicate the value proposition of our software products and services.

Sales Conversion & Negotiation:

* Convert leads into successful sales by building strong relationships and providing excellent customer service.

* Prepare proposals and negotiate terms to close deals in alignment with company objectives.

CRM Management:

* Accurately maintain and update lead status, follow-ups, and communications in the CRM system.

* Ensure timely documentation of all interactions for future reference and reporting.

Event Participation:

* Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote products and generate leads.

* Follow up with contacts made during events for further engagement.

Client Relationship Management:

* Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

* Act as a key point of contact for client queries and feedback.

Internal Coordination:

* Collaborate with the software implementation and support teams to ensure smooth on boarding and client satisfaction.

* Communicate client needs and project requirements effectively to internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

* Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

* 3–5 years of experience in B2B software sales or a related domain.

* Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

* Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

* Familiarity with CRM systems and lead portals.

* Self-motivated, result-oriented, and a team player.

* Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and events.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in SaaS or enterprise software solutions.

Hands-on experience with platforms like India Mart, Just dial, or similar B2B lead portals.

Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills.

Ability to understand technical products and convey them in a business-friendly manner.
