Job Description (JD): IT Sales Executive / Business Development Executive (IT)

Company Type: IT Company / Startup

Qualification: Graduate / MBA (Marketing / IT preferred)

Job Summary

We are looking for a confident and result-oriented IT Sales Executive with excellent communication skills to sell IT services, software solutions, and technology products. The candidate will be responsible for lead generation, client communication, and closing sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate leads for IT services, software, and solutions.
  • Communicate with clients via calls, emails, online meetings, and in-person meetings.
  • Understand client business requirements and propose suitable IT solutions.
  • Present company offerings such as software development, web/app solutions, cloud services, IT support, etc.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and follow-ups.
  • Maintain client records in CRM tools.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets.
  • Coordinate with technical teams for solution discussions and closures.
  • Build long-term client relationships.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of IT concepts, software, and services.
  • Strong negotiation and convincing skills.
  • Ability to handle domestic and international clients.
  • Comfortable with cold calling and lead follow-ups.
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Knowledge of Digital Marketing concepts:
  • SEO, SEM, Social Media Marketing
  • Google Ads & Meta Ads (basic)
  • Lead generation techniques

Preferred (Good to Have)

  • Experience in IT services / software sales.
  • Knowledge of CRM tools (Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Understanding of software technologies (.NET, Java, Web, Mobile, Cloud – basic).
  • Experience with LinkedIn lead generation or online bidding platforms.
