Business Development Executive Intern

About the Role:

We are looking for a driven and confident Business Development Intern to support our outbound sales efforts through cold calling. The intern will be responsible for initiating conversations with potential clients, understanding their needs, and generating qualified leads for our sales pipeline.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Cold Calling
• Make outbound calls daily to potential clients from a provided list.
• Deliver clear and persuasive communication to introduce the company and its offerings.
• Lead Qualification
• Identify potential customer needs, pain points, and budget.
• Document call outcomes, qualify warm leads, and pass to the senior sales team.
• CRM & Database Management
• Maintain accurate records of conversations and follow-ups in CRM.
• Update lead status and notes after every call.
• Follow-ups
• Conduct timely follow-up calls or emails to nurture interested prospects.
• Book meetings or demos for the business development team.
• Script Improvement
• Provide feedback on call scripts and help improve the pitch for better engagement.
• A/B test different approaches and report what works.
• Daily/Weekly Reporting
• Share call logs, lead status, and conversion metrics with the team.
• Attend regular check-ins and performance review sessions.

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
• Confident, persistent, and not afraid of rejection.
• Fluent in English (and any local language, if applicable).
• Basic understanding of sales and customer engagement.
• Comfortable using phones, spreadsheets, and CRM tools.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
