Role Overview

The Business Development Executive – Institutional Partnerships is responsible for building and managing partnerships with schools and academic institutions, driving institutional marketing efforts, and coordinating workshop operations to ensure smooth program delivery. The role requires excellent English communication skills for sales and marketing, professional maturity, and the ability to engage confidently with senior academics, school leadership, and international mentors.

This position is focused on field-based institutional engagement and involves in-person meetings, presentations, and on-ground coordination with partner institutions. It is not a telemarketing or call-center role. The position requires regular field work within Calicut and nearby areas, and all official travel expenses related to institutional visits and workshops are fully covered by the company.

Key ResponsibilitiesInstitutional Business Development and Field Marketing

Identify and develop partnerships with Class-A schools, colleges, and academic institutions. Market Aeloria Leadership Academy’s leadership and communication workshops through direct institutional engagement, including meetings and presentations with principals, academic heads, and management teams. Prepare proposals, memoranda of understanding, and partnership documentation, and support negotiations and deal closures. Represent the academy during institutional visits, academic meetings, and official engagements.

Workshop Operations and On-Ground Coordination

Coordinate the end-to-end execution of workshops conducted by international mentors. Liaise with school authorities to manage schedules, venues, logistics, and approvals. Act as the primary on-site point of contact during workshops and ensure professional standards, punctuality, and smooth program flow.

Client and Academic Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with senior academics and institutional leadership. Understand institutional requirements and propose customized learning solutions. Serve as the key liaison for partner institutions before, during, and after workshops.

Strategic and Organizational Support

Provide management with institutional feedback, market insights, and growth opportunities. Support expansion initiatives and the development of new institutional collaborations.

Requirements

A minimum of two years of experience in business development, institutional sales, educational marketing, or B2B field sales. Excellent spoken and written English communication skills for sales, presentations, and marketing are essential. Fluency in Malayalam is mandatory for local institutional engagement. Prior experience working with schools, colleges, or academic institutions is preferred. The candidate must demonstrate a strong professional presence, interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage confidently with high-profile academics and leadership teams. A master’s degree in business, management, marketing, or a related field is preferred. Willingness to travel frequently within Calicut and nearby regions, along with strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills, is required.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is ₹20,000 to ₹45,000 per month, along with performance-based incentives. All official travel expenses are covered by the company.
