Job Description

As a Business Development Executive specializing in B2B Travel Sales, you will leverage your minimum 1 year of experience in the B2B travel industry to establish and nurture strong relationships with key partners like travel agents, tour operators, and corporate travel planners across India. Your primary responsibility will be to promote and sell domestic and international travel packages to Indian travel agents, identifying new business opportunities, onboarding new B2B clients, and expanding the travel agent network. You will conduct product presentations, offer customized travel solutions, and handle pricing negotiations with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. Collaboration with internal operations and reservations teams will be essential to ensure efficient and timely fulfillment of client requirements. Additionally, you will represent the company at trade fairs, networking events, and B2B meetings to enhance brand visibility and drive business growth. It is crucial to maintain accurate sales records, pipelines, and reporting using CRM tools or Excel, while also delivering excellent after-sales support and managing client escalations when necessary. To excel in this role, you must possess at least 1 year of proven experience in B2B travel sales or travel agency liaison in India. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills are essential, along with a good understanding of domestic and international travel packages, pricing, and supplier coordination. Your ability to address client objections confidently and close deals effectively will be key to your success. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, CRM tools, and email communication is expected, and a background in Travel & Tourism, Business, Hospitality, or related field is preferred. Preferred attributes include an existing network of B2B travel agents or corporate clients in India, an energetic and self-driven approach, and a willingness to travel within India as needed.
