Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Bidding Specialist or Business Development Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in using Upwork, other bidding platforms like Freelancer, Guru, and PeoplePerHour, and proficiency in leveraging LinkedIn to build connections and drive business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Bidding on Upwork and Other Platforms:

Actively bid for new projects on Upwork and other freelancing platforms to increase the company's client base. Write compelling proposals, negotiate terms, and secure contracts.

  • Lead Generation through LinkedIn:

Utilize LinkedIn for lead generation, reaching out to potential clients, and maintaining connections with industry professionals. Build an online presence to engage with clients and prospects.

  • Client Communication & Relationship Building:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients. Respond to client inquiries promptly and professionally, understanding their needs and offering appropriate solutions.

  • Project Management Coordination:

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of services, and effectively communicate with clients about project progress, timelines, and expectations.

  • Market Research & Competitor Analysis:

Research potential clients, industry trends, and competitor offerings to ensure our proposals stand out in the marketplace. Stay up to date with industry news and changes to enhance bidding strategies.

  • Reporting & Analytics:

Track and report bid performance on various platforms, provide insights into success rates, and suggest improvements to the bidding process.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in bidding on platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, PeoplePerHour, etc.
  • Strong LinkedIn skills for lead generation and networking. Ability to connect and engage with potential clients effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive and professional proposals.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills to convert leads into long-term clients.
  • Knowledge of business development strategies and market trends within the IT industry.
  • Ability to manage multiple bids and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with CRM tools for client management and tracking.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to finding and pursuing business opportunities.
  • Experience in the IT industry is a plus but not mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience with email marketing tools and social media management platforms.
