We are looking for a Business Development Executive with hands-on experience in generating business through Upwork and other freelance platforms . This is a full-time onsite role where you’ll be responsible for managing bidding activities, developing new client relationships, and helping close deals that align with our service offerings. Key Responsibilities: Search and bid on relevant projects daily on Upwork, Freelancer, and similar platforms. Draft tailored and persuasive proposals that align with client requirements. Manage client communication, conduct initial calls, and nurture leads to conversion. Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., tech, design, content) to ensure accurate project scoping. Maintain and update a pipeline of leads, proposals, and negotiations using CRM tools. Analyze platform trends, competition, and best practices to improve win rate. Meet weekly and monthly targets for proposals submitted, interviews booked, and deals closed. Requirements: 1–4 years of experience in business development with a focus on Upwork/freelance marketplaces . Proven ability to write effective proposals and manage client communication. Strong command of English (spoken and written). Good understanding of IT services such as: Web development Digital marketing (SEO, PPC, SMM) Graphic design Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. Must be able to work from the office on a daily basis. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree Experience using CRMs (e.g., Zoho, HubSpot) and project tools (e.g., Trello, ClickUp). Familiarity with Upwork Work Diary and communication tools like Slack or Skype.
