Business Development Executive (BDE)

We’re looking for a Mid-Level Business Development Executive with proven success on Upwork to drive our business growth. You’ll take full ownership of identifying opportunities, managing our presence on job boards, crafting winning proposals, and building lasting client relationships.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on scouting, pitching, and closing deals, with clear opportunities to grow into senior business development leadership.

• Own and manage our Upwork and job board presence
• Proactively hunt and qualify high-value projects aligned with our services
• Write tailored, persuasive proposals that convert Lead client communication from first contact through deal closure
• Manage and optimize our Upwork profile and portfolio for better visibility
• Identify and qualify high-value opportunities on Upwork and other job boards.
• Write and submit customized, high-conversion proposals.
• Communicate with clients in early stages: requirement gathering, clarifications, initial negotiations.
• Support in deal closures alongside the founding team.
• Track BD metrics: proposals sent, response rates, conversions, and revenue influenced.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activity.
• Collaborate with the founding team to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery
• Continuously refine strategies to maximize win rates and client satisfaction
• Proven track record of winning projects on Upwork (must-have)
• 2–4 years of business development or sales experience in a service-based industry
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Self-starter with the ability to take full ownership of the BD pipeline
• Ambition to grow into senior BD responsibilities and client ownership

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
