Job Title: Business Development Executive Reports to: Business Development Manager / Director Job Summary: The Business Development Executive is responsible for driving organizational growth by identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strong client relationships, and executing strategic sales initiatives. This role requires proactive market research, effective lead generation, and close collaboration with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs and contribute to revenue objectives. Key Responsibilities 1. Lead Generation & ProspectingIdentify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through networking, cold outreach, referrals, and market intelligence. Conduct research to target potential clients and high-value industry segments. 2. Client Relationship ManagementBuild, nurture, and maintain long-term relationships with both new and existing clients. Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring timely response to inquiries and resolution of issues. 3. Sales & Revenue DevelopmentDevelop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed company revenue targets. Prepare and deliver persuasive sales pitches, presentations, and proposals tailored to client requirements. 4. Market Research & InsightsAnalyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support strategic planning and business decisions. 5. Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to align solutions with client expectations. Support the development of marketing campaigns, promotional materials, and client-focused initiatives. 6. Reporting & DocumentationPrepare accurate and timely reports on sales activities, pipelines, and progress toward goals. Maintain comprehensive records of client interactions and opportunities within CRM systems. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar client-facing role. Strong knowledge of sales processes, marketing principles, and market dynamics. Skills & CompetenciesExceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong negotiation and persuasion capabilities. Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently. Proficient in MS Office applications and CRM platforms. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Achievement of sales and revenue targets. Number of new clients acquired. Client retention and satisfaction levels. Volume and success rate of proposals submitted and deals closed. Working ConditionsPrimarily office-based with potential travel for client meetings, events, and presentations. Flexibility in working hours may be required based on client or project needs.
