Business Development Engineer

As a Sales Executive for Software Sales (CAD / CAE), SolidWorks, your role involves aggressively developing new customers and expanding the existing customer base. You will be responsible for implementing sales objectives and strategies, preparing sales quotations, and assisting in marketing & promotional activities. Additionally, you will participate in exhibitions and marketing events, showcasing your good presentation skills. You should be willing to travel in and around the Chennai Area to meet customer needs effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Develop new customers and expand existing customer base for Software Sales (CAD / CAE), SolidWorks. - Implement sales objectives and strategies to drive business growth. - Prepare sales quotations and related documents accurately. - Assist in marketing & promotional activities to enhance brand visibility. - Participate in exhibitions and marketing events to showcase products effectively. - Willingness to travel within the Chennai Area to meet customer requirements. - Demonstrate good presentation skills to engage customers effectively. Qualification Required: - B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering/MBA in Sales and Marketing or any graduate with relevant sales experience in the same field. - Proficiency in English for effective communication and writing skills. - Minimum 1 to 2 years of sales experience, preferably in software selling. - Highly self-motivated, initiative-driven, and aggressive in sales with a positive attitude. - Passionate about meeting customers, ability to convince them, energetic, and after-sales oriented. - Ability to plan the sales schedule effectively to achieve targets. - Knowledge of local languages is an added advantage.
