Position: Business Development Associate (BDA) Department: Sales Reports to: Sales Manager Job Overview: The Business Development Associate is responsible for generating leads, conducting in-person customer visits, presenting company products, and closing sales. The role requires strong communication skills, field mobility, and a customer-focused approach to drive business growth. Roles & Responsibilities: Identify and generate potential customer leads through market visits, cold calling, and referrals. Visit residential, commercial, or industrial customers to explain solar product offerings. Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and update records on CRM tools. Collaborate with internal technical and operations teams for proposal generation and post-sales support Negotiate deals, handle objections, and close sales within defined timelines. Ensure timely documentation and collection of payments. Educate customers on the benefits, ROI, and government incentives of solar installations. Conduct follow-ups to maintain customer relationships and encourage referrals.
