Role Overview


As a Business Development Associate (BDA) at NextSem, you will be at the forefront of our growth, helping students make informed decisions about their education. You’ll act as the connecting link between students and institutions, guiding learners toward programs that best suit their career aspirations while contributing to NextSem’s mission of redefining higher education guidance.


This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates who are passionate about education, communication, and sales, and are looking to start a career in a fast-growing EdTech environment.


Key Responsibilities


  • Connect with prospective students through calls, emails, and digital platforms to understand their academic and career goals.


  • Counsel students on suitable courses and programs offered by NextSem’s partner universities and institutes.


  • Build and maintain strong relationships with leads to ensure consistent follow-ups and conversions.


  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to refine communication and lead strategies.


  • Maintain accurate records and reports of interactions and conversions using CRM tools.


  • Gather market insights and feedback from students to improve service offerings.


What We’re Looking For


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


  • Passion for education, learning, and student guidance.
  • Self-driven, goal-oriented, and eager to grow in a startup environment.


  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.


  • Ability to engage empathetically with students and parents.


  • Basic understanding of higher education programs (online, distance, or hybrid) is a plus.


Eligibility


  • Open to freshers and recent graduates from any discipline.


  • Prior experience in sales, counselling, or EdTech is a plus but not mandatory.
