About the Role

Beat Educations is looking for a proactive and target-driven Business Development Associate with prior experience in the EdTech sector, based in Chennai. The role focuses on driving admissions, partnerships, and revenue growth for our training and upskilling programs.


Key Responsibilities
  • Generate leads and convert them into enrollments for EdTech courses through calls, meetings, and online outreach.
  • Build and manage relationships with students, parents, working professionals, and corporate clients.
  • Conduct product demos, counseling sessions, and presentations (online/offline) to explain course offerings and value.
  • Identify and onboard channel partners, colleges, training centers, and corporates in and around Chennai.
  • Coordinate with marketing and academic teams to execute campaigns, webinars, and events to boost admissions.
  • Track sales pipeline, maintain CRM data, and prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue and admission targets consistently.


Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; MBA/PG in Marketing or Sales is an added advantage.
  • 1–3 years of experience in business development/sales in EdTech, training, test prep, or education services.
  • Strong understanding of EdTech products, student/working professional segments, and admissions cycles.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a similar role.


Skills & Competencies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (English; Tamil/Hindi added advantage).
  • Strong negotiation, closing skills, and objection-handling ability.
  • Comfort with outbound calls, field meetings, and remote selling using Zoom/Google Meet/WhatsApp.
  • Ability to work in a target-driven, fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Good working knowledge of CRM tools, MS Office, and basic digital tools (LinkedIn, email, WhatsApp, etc.).


Location & Work Mode
  • Location: Chennai (field + office-based role).
  • Willingness to travel within Chennai for meetings and partnerships.
