CodeChef has evolved from a Platform with only Competitive programming capabilities to a platform where a user can do his entire 4 year CS Education on CodeChef. Colleges collaborate with CodeChef to integrate our learning and assessment environment into their Academic Labs.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and driven Business Development Associate to drive our engagement with colleges. This role involves managing inbound leads, onboarding new colleges, and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in business development within the education sector, particularly with colleges.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Assess the competitors and analyze market trends and developments.
  • Handle inbound leads, conduct initial conversations, and assess their interest in our offerings.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings and present CodeChef's course offerings.
  • Setting video meetings, calls or Onsite in person meetings with prospects. Note: Travel for college visits is required.
  • Follow up with potential clients to ensure smooth onboarding.
  • Maintain a database of leads and update their status regularly.

Account Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for onboarded colleges, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Maintain regular communication with college stakeholders and conduct monthly on-site visits.
  • Share weekly progress reports, ensuring transparency in student performance and engagement.
  • Regular visits to the colleges for review meetings
  • Coordinate with colleges for assessment scheduling and execution.
  • Address any queries or issues raised by colleges promptly and effectively.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 13 years in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the education, B2B ed-tech, or training sector.
  • College Engagement: Prior experience working with colleges, universities, or student programs is essential.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term client/partner relationships.
  • Analytical Tools: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (reporting, presentations, tracking).
  • Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple clients/partners, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred: Experience in education-focused publishing, ed-tech platforms, or campus programs will be an advantage.
