Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic, target-driven Sales and Business Development Manager who will identify, close, and manage business opportunities in the animation and creative services space. The ideal candidate brings strong industry knowledge, relationship-building expertise, and a passion for creative storytelling. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly revenue targets (1225L) and ensure business profitability. Lead Generation: Identify new business opportunities via research, networking, cold outreach, and partnerships. Client Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients; act as their trusted partner to solve creative needs. Pitching & Proposals: Prepare tailored pitches, RFPs, and decks that highlight our capabilities and showcase client-specific solutions. Negotiation & Closures: Lead contract discussions, pricing negotiations, and deal closures aligned with company goals. Market Intelligence: Track market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to inform sales strategies. Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with creative, production, and tech teams to ensure alignment between client needs and deliverables. Reporting: Maintain accurate records of leads, pipeline, and closures via CRM and provide regular forecasts and insights to leadership. Brand Representation: Represent S&M at relevant events, festivals, and forums to build brand visibility and network with potential clients. Feedback Loop: Gather client feedback for continuous service improvement and product innovation. Qualifications & Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business, Marketing, or related fields. A background in media, animation, or production is a bonus. Experience: 5–7 years of experience in business development or sales, ideally within the animation, media, or creative agency space. Industry Know-how: Deep understanding of animation workflows, client expectations, and content production timelines. Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills, with the ability to communicate creative value propositions with clarity. Negotiation & Closure: Proven ability to negotiate contracts and close large-value deals with diverse clients. Tools: Familiarity with CRM tools and the MS Office Suite; ability to use data and insights for sales optimization. Personality: Self-starter, driven by targets, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative ecosystem. Flexibility: Willingness to travel for key meetings, events, or client engagements. Creative Lens: Passion for storytelling and the ability to position creative capabilities to solve business problems. Revenue Target: Monthly revenue goal: 12–25 Lakhs Incentives will be aligned with achieving and exceeding this target.
