Job Description

Business Developer

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, manage, and optimize profiles on

    Upwork, Freelancer, and LinkedIn

    to generate consistent leads.
  • Write high-converting

    proposals

    and bid on relevant projects daily.
  • Communicate with clients through chat, calls, and messages to understand their requirements.
  • Convert leads into long-term clients and close deals with strong negotiation skills.
  • Maintain a pipeline of potential clients and follow up regularly.
  • Work closely with the internal team to understand service offerings and prepare customized proposals.
  • Track performance, report progress, and achieve monthly sales targets.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Business Developer or Bidder on

    Upwork/Freelancer

    (minimum 1–2 years preferred).
  • Strong understanding of

    IT services

    : Website Development, App Development, SEO, PPC, SMM, Branding, etc.
  • Excellent

    English communication skills

    (written + verbal).
  • Ability to create professional proposals, cost estimations, and project timelines.
  • Strong negotiation, persuasion, and client-handling skills.
  • Basic understanding of project management and tech stacks (WordPress, PHP, React, Shopify, Laravel, etc.) is a plus.
