Job Description

As the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for core banking software, your role is pivotal in crafting and executing marketing strategies that propel awareness, demand, and adoption of our software solutions within the financial technology (fintech) industry. Your responsibilities will encompass various key areas: Marketing Strategy and Planning: - Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies in alignment with our business objectives and target market segments. - Define positioning, messaging, and value propositions for our core banking software products to establish differentiation in the marketplace. Brand Management: - Oversee brand development and management to ensure consistency across all marketing communications and customer touchpoints. - Enhance brand awareness and equity through strategic initiatives, campaigns, and partnerships. Market Research and Customer Insights: - Conduct market research to comprehend customer needs, pain points, and purchasing behaviors within the fintech and banking sector. - Utilize customer insights and data analytics to shape marketing strategies and product development endeavors. Product Marketing: - Collaborate with the product management team to craft compelling product positioning and messaging tailored for target audiences. - Develop and implement go-to-market plans for new product launches and feature releases, encompassing pricing strategies and sales enablement materials. Demand Generation and Lead Generation: - Drive demand generation campaigns to secure qualified leads and opportunities for the sales team. - Execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, spanning digital marketing, content marketing, events, webinars, and partnerships, to foster customer acquisition and engagement. Sales Enablement and Support: - Work closely with sales teams to create sales collateral, presentations, and tools that aid the selling process and elucidate the value proposition of our core banking software. - Equip sales teams with market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer testimonials to enhance sales effectiveness. Customer Marketing and Retention: - Design customer marketing programs to nurture existing customers, boost customer loyalty, and drive product adoption and upsell opportunities. - Implement customer advocacy programs and curate customer testimonials and case studies to exhibit success stories. Digital Marketing and Online Presence: - Supervise digital marketing initiatives, including website management, SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media marketing, and online advertising campaigns. - Optimize digital channels to amplify inbound traffic, engagement, and conversion rates. Public Relations and Communications: - Manage external communications, media relations, and public relations activities to bolster brand visibility and reputation. - Act as a spokesperson for the company and establish relationships with industry influencers, analysts, and media outlets. Performance Measurement and Analytics: - Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the efficacy of marketing campaigns and initiatives. - Utilize data analytics and marketing automation tools to gauge ROI, refine marketing spend, and continually enhance marketing performance. In essence, your role as the Chief Marketing Officer is crucial in propelling revenue growth, customer acquisition, and market share through strategic marketing initiatives that position our core banking software products as innovative solutions tailored to cater to the evolving needs of the fintech industry and banking sector. This is a full-time position with benefits including cell phone reimbursement, flexible schedule, health insurance, internet reimbursement, paid sick time, paid time off, provident fund, and work-from-home option.
