Role Overview 

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our product

team. In this role, you will play a critical part in bridging business needs with technical

implementation by gathering requirements, managing project documentation, and supporting

the full software development lifecycle. Your contributions will directly impact the delivery of

innovative software solutions that support global pharmaceutical companies with Market

Access and Pricing Strategy. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, SMEs,

engineering teams, and clients to drive product development and ensure delivery

excellence. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Collaborate with clients, internal stakeholders, and subject matter experts to elicit,

analyse, and document business and functional requirements. 

• Work alongside stakeholders to prioritize features and scope projects effectively

based on business value and technical feasibility. 

• Translate complex business needs into well-defined user stories, acceptance criteria,

process flows, and wireframes using tools like Azure DevOps or JIRA. 

• Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and support sprint management in Agile and

Hybrid (Agile + Waterfall) environments. 

• Serve as the business SME and Product Owner proxy for the development and QA

teams during design, development, and testing phases. 

• Create comprehensive documentation including Business Requirements Documents

(BRD), Functional Specifications (FSD), UX sketches, data flows, and other technical

or user-facing content. 

• Drive efficient ways of working throughout the project lifecycle and proactively identify

opportunities for process improvements. 

• Facilitate clear and consistent client communication, including project updates,

timelines, requirements clarification, and feedback sessions. 

• Support QA efforts by defining test scenarios and participating in User Acceptance

Testing (UAT) activities. 

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product decisions and

strategic planning. 

• Participate in and assist with related project and product management activities as

needed. 

Requirements & Competencies 

• 35 years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst in a software product or

solutions environment. 

• Experience in Pharma, Life Sciences, or Healthcare IT is highly desirable. 

• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams including Engineering, QA, UI/UX,

Data, and Client Success. 

• Strong understanding and practical experience with Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and

hybrid methodologies. 

• Proficient with documentation and project management tools such as Azure DevOps,

JIRA, Confluence, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. 

• Excellent stakeholder communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to

bridge the gap between business and technical teams. 

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail. 

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and operate independently in a

fast-paced environment. 

• Basic to intermediate exposure to analytics tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and

understanding of data modelling. 

• General understanding of modern technology concepts such as cloud infrastructure,

web technologies, APIs, and data security. 

Nice to Have 

• Prior experience working in Market Access, Pricing Strategy, or Real-World Evidence

(RWE) software domains. 

• Familiarity with global pharmaceutical pricing datasets, regulatory frameworks, or

reimbursement data. 

• Experience in facilitating retrospectives and continuous improvement sessions.
