Business Analyst - US Healthcare

As a Healthcare Business Analyst at HCT, the technology wing of Sagility Healthcare, you will play a crucial role in analyzing, designing, and optimizing business processes for healthcare systems. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, providing technology solutions related to healthcare systems. - Analyzing complex healthcare data sets such as EDI, claims, eligibility, utilization, and quality metrics to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities. - Developing detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, process flows, and use cases. - Translating regulatory and compliance requirements (HIPAA, HEDIS, CMS, ICD, CPT) into effective business solutions. - Leading business process redesign and optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. - Supporting testing efforts by defining test plans, performing user acceptance testing (UAT), and validating system outputs. - Collaborating with technical teams to ensure alignment of solutions with business needs. - Mentoring junior analysts and contributing to the continuous improvement of analysis methodologies and tools. Qualifications required for this role include: - Solid understanding of healthcare business processes, terminology, and regulatory requirements. - Hands-on experience with tools like SQL, Excel, Tableau/Power BI, Visio, JIRA, Confluence. - Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Proven experience in business analysis. - Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
