Job Description

As a Business Analyst in our organization, you will be responsible for analyzing business client needs, providing technical solutions, and documenting requirements by utilizing business analysis procedures and concepts. Your role will involve developing user stories aligned with business requirements and translating them for development teams to facilitate validation and implementation. You will be expected to work independently on most problems, demonstrating the ability to solve complex issues with a degree of autonomy. By integrating in-depth specialty area knowledge with industry standards and practices, you will contribute to the overall objectives of the subfunction/job family. Attention to detail is crucial in making judgments and recommendations based on factual information, as you will often deal with variable issues with potential broader business impact. Your responsibilities will include identifying risks and considering the business implications of applying technology to the current business environment. As an Apps Support Intermediate Analyst, you will provide technical and business support for users of Citi Applications. Your tasks will involve fielding issues and queries from stakeholders, providing short-term resolutions, and collaborating with relevant technology partners for long-term remediation. In addition, you will act as a liaison between users/traders, internal technology groups, and vendors. Your role will require participation in disaster recovery testing, application releases, and post-release checkouts. Developing and maintaining technical support documentation will be essential, alongside analyzing applications to identify risks, vulnerabilities, and security issues. You will be expected to cooperate with development colleagues to prioritize bug fixes and support tooling requirements. Your work will have a direct impact on the business, ensuring the quality of work provided by yourself and others. Collaboration with team members and stakeholders is vital to exchange ideas and information effectively. Qualifications for this role include basic knowledge or interest in apps support procedures, concepts, and other technical areas. Previous experience or interest in standardizing procedures and practices, along with a basic understanding of financial markets and products, will be beneficial. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to plan and organize workload, are essential for success in this position. Education requirements include a Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience. Operating with a limited level of direct supervision, exercising independence of judgment and autonomy, and acting as a subject matter expert to senior stakeholders or team members will be part of your role.
