Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst in our software projects, your role will involve interfacing with clients to gather software requirements and utilizing tools like Postman, Superset, and Quicksight for requirement analysis and responding to client queries. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions. Validation of implemented changes in coordination with the software development team and effective communication with developers for clarifications on client requirements will be key aspects of your responsibilities. Ensuring timely delivery of projects/change requests within scope and budget, creating detailed project plans using tools like Jira and Confluence, performing risk management, and maintaining project documentation will also be part of your duties. Reporting and escalating to management as needed will be crucial. Qualifications required for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, along with 3-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role in software projects. You should have a solid understanding of using Postman or similar API development tools, strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analytic tools like Superset, Quicksight, or Tableau, excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools such as Jira and Confluence. Possessing a PMP / PRINCE II certification will be considered a plus. The successful candidate for this position will be a good team player with a thorough understanding of the software development process, capable of handling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Effective communication skills to bridge the gap between developers" technical language and client needs are essential. Besides managing and delivering project requirements, you will also analyze data and present it in a clear, understandable manner to support business decision-making and process improvement.
