Business Analyst

Business Analyst having experience in complete BA Life Cycle from requirement gathering to release. Experience in writing user stories & acceptance.

As Business Analyst for Mobile Apps, the candidate will be working closely with the Ecommerce, IT & Support development teams to ensure mobile app development is part of the joined up overall development strategy. Working together with teams in India and the UK will be key to personal success and key to project delivery. The candidate must have exceptional stakeholder management skills when it comes to understanding and delivering on their aspirations. There may be times when we require the Business Analyst to help support Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Project Managers or Design. Ultimately, we operate as one team, supporting one another to get the job done.

BA responsible for will work for  documenting business requirements and capturing in Epics/User Stories for mobile app and liaising with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Other business stakeholders. Business Analyst to analyse and perform impact analysis with consideration of  API and integrations. Helping team in migration and/or data migration.

• Own the requirements for the project. Liaise with the Product Owner in the UK capturing these with any supporting documentation and clearly and concisely capture on confluence. (

• Work closely with the development teams in India and UK to give them a clear understanding of what needs to be delivered
• Using sessions such as ‘

  3 amigos

  ', flesh out the user stories and agree to by the team. Run estimation sessions to understand the effort required to deliver the stories
• Work closely with UX design to help them understand the requirements and any potential technical limitations that may impact the design
• Support

  sprint planning

  by having all analysis ready, well defined and pointed. Support delivery of the stories throughout

  sprint

• Drive a project from inception to the point it goes live (It is imperative the candidate has a full end to end understanding of the software development lifecycle.)
• Facilitating stakeholder workshops, displaying skill in interviewing, effective questioning and have an ability to capture valuable output that you can build further analysis on
• Leverage in depth understanding of the latest technology trends in the mobile application space and apply it in the Jet2 environment

Most importantly, our Business Analysts don’t just stop at the capture of requirements, we collaborate within our development teams to take ideas from concept through to a solution. Understanding any areas of risk, dependencies, compliance and impacts.
