Assistant Manager- Business Analyst

Location : Bangalore / Pune

Exp: 7 to 10 Yrs

Work Mode: Hybrid

Shift : 12:00 TO 8 PM

The Business Analyst serves as a critical bridge between the organization's business units and IT, ensuring that business needs are adequately met through technological solutions. This role is pivotal in facilitating the collaboration between business stakeholders, including end-users, and the IT department, focusing on enhancing business processes and system functionality.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities 

• Operate as a primary point of contact between business users and IT teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements.
• • Engaging with business users to understand and document business requirements and system solutions.
• • Scoping potential solutions with the assistance of IT architects to ensure alignment with business needs.
• • Analyze and recommend IT based solutions that address specific business needs.
• • Work collaboratively with internal and external cross-functional teams to implement systems and business processes.
• • Define project scope and objectives along with the necessary documentation content.
• • Assess software products to gauge their suitability for integration with existing and future IT infrastructures.
• • Manage vendor relationships effectively, overseeing issue resolution from notification to conclusion.
• • Facilitate requirement gathering sessions and document the outcomes including requirements, use cases, and other essential project documents.
• • Develop and document UAT test cases and plans and provide support during UAT execution.
• • Maintain the project's communication channels, such as Microsoft Teams, ensuring efficient information distribution and collaboration.

Preferred candidate profile

Preferred Qualifications

• A bachelors degree in software development, Computer Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or PGDM from a reputed institution is advantageous.
• Good to have: CBAP certification.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within IT, ranging from 5-8 years, with a total professional experience of 7-10 years.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Azure DevOps and Visio.
• Background in IT/CIO Advisory, IT Consulting, Application Development, IT Product Development, and Cloud.
• Excellent communication skills with a thorough understanding of Cloud Technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and General AI.
• Agile/Scrum methodology experience, with practical skills in Azure DevOps and JIRA.
• Project management experience is a notable advantage.
• Innovative mindset, the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
