Business Analyst - Enterprise Systems & Workflows

About the Role

You will work on building the foundational process and systems knowledge base for an Enterprise AI Copilot. This involves deeply understanding enterprise workflows, system integrations, and operational data across IT, Retail, and Manufacturing environments. Your work will be used to train autonomous AI agents and simulate real-world enterprise operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand, map, and document

  end-to-end business processes

  across IT, Retail, and Manufacturing teams.

• Capture workflows across multiple systems

  (e.g., ServiceNow, ERP, POS, CRM, IAM tools, WMS, MES).
• Convert qualitative process information into

  structured, machine-readable workflows

  (schemas, templates, JSON-like representations).
• Identify

  triggers, personas, tasks, systems, dependencies, data fields, and exceptions

  in each workflow.
• Conduct sessions with SMEs, Engineers, and Business Stakeholders to gather accurate process details.
• Ensure consistency and quality of process data across contributors and departments.
• Analyze ticket data, system logs, or operational data to extract patterns and improve process definitions.

Core Requirements (Must-Haves):

Business Analysis, Data & Process Skills

• Strong ability to break down complex business processes logically.
• Ability to standardize and generalize processes into reusable templates.
• Able to define fields, entities, attributes, and metadata for process models.
• Experience analyzing operational data (tickets, logs, attributes, SLAs, exceptions).
• Comfortable working with structured data formats (tables, schemas, templates, JSON-like representations).

Systems Knowledge

• Practical exposure to enterprise systems such as:

• ITSM platforms

  : ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, BMC

• ERP

  : SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics

• Retail systems

  : POS, Inventory, Store Ops tools

• Manufacturing/OT Systems

  : CMMS, IoT, MES, production workflows

• IAM/ITOps systems

  : Active Directory, SCCM, Okta
• Understanding of cross-system workflows and integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in

  Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar

  .
• 3–7 years in

  Business Analysis, Process Mapping, or Systems Analysis

  roles.
• Experience working in

  Retail or Manufacturing Enterprise

  environments.
• Experience documenting complex workflows end-to-end.
