Job Description

Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled

Business Analyst

with strong experience in

monitoring and observability

tools and practices. The ideal candidate will have knowledge on

Dynatrace

Elastic Cloud

OpenTelemetry

, and be proficient in defining requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and translating business needs into actionable user stories.This role will play a critical part in improving the performance, reliability, and visibility of our applications by bridging the gap between business stakeholders, developers, and SRE/DevOps teams.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document monitoring and observability requirements.
Create and maintain user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria in Jira.
Collaborate with different teams to ensure effective implementation of APM solutions.
Leverage tools like Dynatrace, Elastic Cloud, and OpenTelemetry to define monitoring strategies.
Analyze logs, metrics, and traces to provide insights and drive root cause analysis.
Develop and maintain dashboards, s, and reports for performance and health monitoring.
Document knowledge and processes in Confluence.
Conduct impact analysis and prioritize work in an Agile environment.
Define KPIs and SLAs aligned with business goals for system performance and reliability.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a technical environment with monitoring focus.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Dynatrace, Elastic Cloud, and APM tools.
Solid understanding of logging, metrics, traces, and observability concepts.
Good to have knowledge in OpenTelemetry standards and integration approaches.
Experience in working with Jira and Confluence in an Agile mode.
Ability to translate complex technical monitoring requirements into user stories and visual reports.
Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Experience in dashboarding (Dynatrace, Kibana, Grafana, etc.) and ing/reporting best practices.
