Sr. Business Analyst

5+ years

Location: Hybrid (On-site & Remote)

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or equivalent

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Analyst to work closely with our enterprise retail client in a consulting capacity. The ideal candidate will have a strong technology foundation combined with proven expertise in business process analysis, operating model design, and stakeholder engagement.

This role requires a self-driven professional capable of understanding business challenges, translating them into actionable solutions, and collaborating with technical and functional teams to ensure effective delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with client stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements with clarity and precision.
• Develop and refine

  business operating models, process flows, and solution roadmaps

  aligned with organizational objectives.
• Conduct gap analysis and propose process improvements or system enhancements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams for solution design and implementation.
• Support project planning, prioritization, and delivery tracking across multiple workstreams.
• Facilitate workshops, walkthroughs, and presentations for client stakeholders.
• Serve as a bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring alignment and mutual understanding.
• Take ownership of deliverables, drive discussions proactively, and provide thought leadership on process optimization and best practices
  

Requirement:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis within IT or data-driven environments.
• Strong understanding of business process modelling, operating model development, and requirement documentation.
• Exposure to enterprise-scale data ecosystems or retail domain preferred.
• Proven experience in preparing business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and user stories.
• Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and consulting abilities with a proactive, ownership-driven approach.
• Enthusiasm for exploring business problems, learning new domains, and suggesting innovative solutions.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid consulting environment.
