Job Description

As a Business Analyst at Bright-River, you will be joining our dynamic Technology team in Chennai. Bright-River specializes in providing Visual Content services to global e-commerce and retail companies through our in-house developed platform and applications. You will be working closely with stakeholders to analyze business processes, identify areas for improvement, and translate complex business needs into detailed technical requirements. **Responsibilities:** - Conduct thorough business process analysis and document current state workflows, pinpointing pain points and optimization opportunities. - Facilitate workshops and interviews with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and system specifications. - Create detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and process flow diagrams utilizing standard business analysis techniques and tools. - Perform gap analysis between current and desired business processes, recommending solutions aligned with organizational goals. - Collaborate with development teams to ensure proper understanding and implementation of requirements, acting as the primary liaison between business and technical teams. - Support user acceptance testing by developing test cases, coordinating testing activities, and documenting results. - Analyze data and generate reports to assist stakeholders in making informed decisions about process improvements and system enhancements. **Requirements:** - Minimum of 2 years experience as a Business Analyst in software development or technology projects. - Strong knowledge of business analysis techniques and tools such as process mapping, requirements gathering, and use case modeling. - Demonstrated experience with requirements management and documentation tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar. - Proficiency in creating business process models, workflows, and diagrams using tools like Visio, Draw.io, or similar. - Experience in writing clear and comprehensive business requirements documents (BRDs) and functional specifications. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to facilitate meetings and present to stakeholders at all levels. - Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. - Experience in data analysis and reporting.
