Role & responsibilities

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with product owners, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to

  capture, document, and validate business requirements

  for digital/mobile initiatives.
• Translate high-level business needs into detailed

  functional and non-functional requirements

  , user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Support

  digital transformation initiatives

  , ensuring alignment with business strategy, compliance, and customer experience goals.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, developers, testers, and other BAs to ensure smooth and efficient delivery.
• Participate in

  backlog grooming, sprint planning, and sprint reviews

  in agile environments.
• Conduct

  impact analysis

  for changes to processes, systems, and workflows.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discussions to gather insights and drive consensus.
• Monitor delivery progress, identify risks, and work with teams to mitigate issues.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to HSBC guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven experience as a

  Business Analyst

  in

  digital/mobile delivery projects

  .
• Strong understanding of

  mobile applications, web platforms, APIs, and integration points

  .
• Knowledge of

  Agile/Scrum

  delivery practices.
• Excellent

  stakeholder management

  and communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to work in a

  fast-paced, global, and regulated environment

  .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with BA tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Balsamiq).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the

  banking/financial services

  sector.
• Certification in

  Agile (Scrum Master/Product Owner)

  or

  Business Analysis (CBAP, BCS)
