Job Description

As a successful candidate, you will have a strong background and proficiency in Building Performance Engineering and good technical competencies. Your strong written and verbal communication of technical issues to varied technical and non-technical professionals will be key to your success in the role. You will typically be responsible for: Creating IES Building Geometry by using architectural drawings and 3D models. Review of technical information from building regulations and other building standard guidance documents. Whole Building Performance Modelling.{Part L Modelling, Daylight Analysis, Overheating Analysis (Part O, TM52, TM59, etc.), BRUKL/BRIRL, BER, EPC, CIBSE TM54, Heating and cooling load calculations} Technical report writing. Minimum requirements: A Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering. 4-5 years of relevant experience. Deep knowledge of Building Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. Working experience on IES VE energy modelling software is a mandatory requirement. Candidate should be able to model Building Geometry, fabric U-values/thermal mass, detailed HVAC systems, Renewable Energy Technologies and District Heating/Cooling. Show more Show less
