Job Title: Graduate Engineer Trainee – Mechanical / Mechanical Engineer (Fresher)

Job Summary:

The Mechanical Engineer (Fresher) will support plant operations by assisting in maintenance, production, and process improvement activities. The role involves learning plant equipment, machinery operations, and maintenance practices to ensure efficient, safe, and reliable manufacturing performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in monitoring and maintaining mechanical systems, machines, and equipment.
• Support preventive and breakdown maintenance activities under supervision.
• Learn and assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new machines.
• Observe and document operational data to improve process efficiency and equipment reliability.
• Support production teams in optimizing machine performance and reducing downtime.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with company standards.
• Maintain proper records of maintenance and production activities.
• Collaborate with senior engineers in identifying and implementing process improvements.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, TPM, etc.).
• Learn about spare parts management and basic inventory control.

Qualifications:

• Education: B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience: 0–1 year (Freshers are encouraged to apply)

Skills & Competencies:

• Basic understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and fabrication processes.
• Good knowledge of machine operations and maintenance fundamentals.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to industrial environments.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and basic CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks preferred).
