Experience Required : 4+ years Certifications : Certification in Oil & Gas (e.g., API, ASME, or relevant) Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Proposal Engineer with a solid background in the Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of relevant experience in preparing competitive technical and commercial proposals for engineering services or product supplies. The role requires an individual who can analyze customer requirements, prepare accurate cost estimations, and create winning proposals in alignment with industry standards and client expectations. Key Responsibilities Review RFQs (Request for Quotations) and tenders from clients in the Oil & Gas sector. Analyze technical specifications, scope of work, and commercial terms. Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project teams for data gathering. Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals, including BOQs, datasheets, and cost estimates. Develop compliance matrices and ensure proposals meet client requirements. Coordinate with vendors for pricing and technical offers when required. Participate in pre-bid meetings and technical clarifications. Maintain and update proposal databases, documentation, and historical pricing. Work closely with the sales and business development teams to improve win rates. Ensure timely submission of proposals within the deadline. Monitor post-submission feedback and continuously improve the proposal strategy. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical eng related field. Certification in Oil & Gas (API, ASME, NACE, or equivalent). Minimum 4 years of experience in proposal or estimation roles in Oil & Gas, EPC, or related industry. Strong understanding of industry codes and standards (API, ASTM, ASME, etc.). Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and ERP software (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and time-management skills.
