Job Description

To strategically develop and maintain robust relationships with insurance brokers, serving as a pivotal link between Care Health Insurance and the broker community. This role is crucial for understanding broker and their client's insurance needs, driving new business acquisition, providing expert product recommendations, and ensuring high-quality service and support throughout the client and policy lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Broker Relationship Development & Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong, productive, and lasting relationships with a portfolio of assigned insurance brokers.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for brokers, fostering trust and collaboration to maximize business potential.
  • Regularly engage with brokers to understand their business dynamics, challenges, and support requirements.

Business Acquisition & Growth:

  • Actively identify and acquire new insurance brokers to expand Care Health Insurance's network and market reach.
  • Collaborate closely with existing brokers to understand the health insurance needs of their clients (end-customers) and jointly develop strategies to generate new business.
  • Drive the achievement of assigned business generation targets through the broker channel.

Product Expertise & Advisory:

  • Access broker and end-client requirements thoroughly, providing expert advice and recommending suitable Care Health Insurance products that align with their specific needs.
  • Conduct product presentations and training sessions for brokers to enhance their knowledge and selling capabilities.

Service Quality & Support:

  • Ensure high service quality is delivered to brokers and, through them, to the end-clients throughout the entire client lifecycle, from initial inquiry to policy servicing.
  • Provide comprehensive support to brokers on policy terms, product features, underwriting requirements, and operational processes.

Claims Facilitation:

  • Assist brokers and their clients with claims processing queries and procedures, acting as a liaison with Care Health Insurance's internal claims department to facilitate smooth and timely resolution.

Market & Regulatory Insight:

  • Stay continuously updated on health insurance industry trends, competitive landscapes, product innovations, and relevant regulatory changes (e.g., IRDAI guidelines) to provide informed advice and maintain compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Exceptional relationship management and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong business development and sales acumen.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
  • Customer-centric approach with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to understand and articulate complex insurance products.
  • Good understanding of health insurance industry dynamics and regulations.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven.
