Preferably Engineering Graduate or Diploma in a relevant field. for providing direct support to Broadcast customers and the internal sales team. He should have hands-on experience on Playout Operations, Broadcast Technologies, IP Networking, Video Streaming, Encoding, Servers, etc. 
   Key Responsibilities:
  
  -  The person will carry out Broadcast transmission functions including the operation of playout systems, and ingesting. 
-  The person will be responsible for schedule verification, service monitoring and detection and resolution of service incidents. 
-  Quickly Respond to technical errors from the various systems to restore signals. 
-  Quality Control broadcast automation playout, anticipating and correcting errors. 
-  Scheduling play by play events in traffic and automation systems. 
-  Interface with third party providers regarding service provision 
-  Accurately ticket all on-air incidents using established procedures. 
-  Stay alert and engaged, delivering a premium customer experience. 
-  Assist in testing new software and hardware, and help with development of documentation ensuring all processes and procedures are detailed to integrate any new systems, components, or broadcast requirements. 
-  Take initiative and suggest improvements to operational processes. 
-  Demonstrated abilities to monitor quality of outgoing signals and adjust equipment as necessary. 
-  A person should be able to install/configure/troubleshoot and support customer systems in complex Broadcast IT setups. 
-  Work independently on customer systems with guidance from superiors, must be capable to quickly analyse reported issue and act promptly for quick resolution or escalate to superiors. 
-  Troubleshooting and Technical Support -Receive support calls from customers, capture complete information about the issue and work to resolve or escalate the issue / complain. 
-  Must clearly communicate about the issue with customer and senior team members, regularly update complete details and developments of the case. 
  Qualification & Experience:
  
  -  Experience in coordinating live and recorded broadcasts, including scheduling, monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring the smooth operation of all broadcast systems. 
-  Knowledge about Broadcast Systems, Networking, IT Servers, Storages & Troubleshooting is required. 
-  Individuals with a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in the broadcast industry, with a focus on operating Playout systems and equipment. 
-  Proficiency in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of broadcast IT systems and equipment is a must. 
-  Strong troubleshooting skills to quickly identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring seamless broadcasting. 
-  Candidates with hands-on experience with Playout System, Video Editing systems, and Graphics systems and who have a clear understanding of Television Workflow, Transmission chain, and PCR-Studio workflow. 
-  Familiarity with Ingest & Feed room / Contribution links and related operations/technology. 
-  Must have a good understanding about Ad Insertions, SCTE Markers etc. 
-  Excellent documentation skills, including the ability to create system diagrams and standard operating procedures. 
-  Basic understanding of Transmission Compression chain (Encoders / Decoders) & Video Streaming services. 
-  Should have good understanding of Cloud based Work Flows, CDN etc. 
-  Should have good communication skill. 
-  Available to cover shifts supporting a 24/7/365 operation.
