Overview:

Brightspace Administrator

The ideal candidate is a proactive, solutions-oriented professional experienced in managing diverse environments, including delivering exceptional support to faculty, students, and administrative teams.

Working Hours:

Key Responsibilities:

Brightspace LMS Admin

  • Manage and configure the Brightspace LMS environment, including course creation, user management, and enrollment processes.
  • Monitor the performance of the LMS and troubleshoot technical issues, escalating to Brightspace support if needed.
  • Implement and maintain integrations with third-party tools and services within the LMS (e.g., Zoom, Turnitin, plagiarism checkers, etc.)
  • Manage LMS upgrades, patches, and new feature rollouts
  • Ensure the LMS is secure and compliant with institutional data protection policies and best practices.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for faculty, staff, and students using the Brightspace platform.
  • Manage and analyze LMS data, generating reports on usage, student performance, and course completion metrics for stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of course enrollments, course materials, and user activities within the LMS.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on LMS data analysis to support learning outcomes and platform improvements.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Experience:

  • 7+ years

    of experience and Proven hands-on experience administering a major LMS-

    Brightspace experience is required

  • Strong technical skills in LMS configuration, user management, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with e-learning concepts, instructional design principles, and online course delivery.
  • Proficient in data analysis and report generation using LMS tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with faculty, students, and technical teams.
  • Ability to develop training materials and provide end-user support.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of SCORM, LTI, and other e-learning standards is a plus.
