Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Operations & Branch Management
Manage day-to-day branch operations including sales, dispatch, billing, logistics, and collections. Ensure smooth coordination between sales, warehouse, logistics, and finance teams. Monitor branch performance against targets and KPIs. Maintain operational efficiency and cost control.
Sales & Business Development
Drive branch sales growth and achieve monthly/quarterly targets. Develop and maintain relationships with hospitals, pharmacies, distributors, and key customers. Support the sales team with pricing approvals, order prioritization, and issue resolution. Identify opportunities to expand market reach and product penetration.
Inventory & Supply Chain Management
Oversee inventory planning, stock availability, and timely replenishment. Ensure FIFO/FEFO compliance, expiry management, and minimal stock losses. Monitor inward, outward, and returns of pharmaceutical products. Coordinate with central warehouse and suppliers for stock movement.
Compliance & Regulatory Adherence
Ensure compliance with Drug Control regulations, GDP norms, and company SOPs. Maintain all statutory licenses, documentation, and audit readiness. Ensure proper storage conditions as per pharmaceutical standards.
Team Leadership & HR Coordination
Lead, motivate, and manage branch staff including sales, billing, warehouse, and support teams. Conduct performance reviews, training, and staff development activities. Ensure discipline, attendance, and adherence to company policies.
Financial Control & Reporting
Ensure timely billing, collections, and reconciliation. Prepare and submit MIS, sales reports, inventory reports, and compliance updates to management.
Customer Service & Issue Resolution
Handle escalations from customers and ensure timely resolution of complaints. Ensure high service levels for order fulfilment and delivery timelines.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong leadership and Team management skills In-depth knowledge of pharma distribution operations Excellent communication and coordination skills Proficiency in ERP/SAP or distribution management software will be added an advantage
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor s/Master s degree in in any field MBA or equivalent qualification preferred 12-16 years of experience in pharmaceutical distribution or healthcare logistics or any other industry.
