Job Description Branch Manager

  • Conduct independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and preferences.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff for professional development.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, provide updates, and foster teamwork
  • Coordinate and supervise daily branch operations, including staff scheduling, workflow management, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate the management of databases
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve branch objectives.
  • Develop and maintain effective internal communication channels within the branch.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and business partners.
  • Develop new customer relationships.
  • Develop plans for efficient use of resources (materials, equipment and associates).
  • Evaluate and implement appropriate training programs for staff development.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the branch.
  • Foster a positive and customer-centric culture within the branch.
  • Handle escalated customer inquiries, complaints, and service issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures to maintain service standards.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Lead and motivate branch staff to achieve performance goals and targets.
  • Lead recruiting / on-boarding activities including interviewing, hiring, training.
  • Manage budgets and expenses to optimize resource utilization and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage cash handling procedures and oversee financial transactions.
  • Manage the safety and maintenance repairs for delivery vehicles.
  • Monitor and analyse branch performance metrics, such as revenue, expenses, and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and manage branch expenses to meet financial targets.
  • Plan and coordinate special events or promotions to drive customer engagement and sales.
  • Plan, assign and direct work as required to meet the deadlines and targets of the branch.

Education and Background

  • Business degree or related professional qualification.
  • Experience in all aspects of planning and implementing sales strategy.
  • Technical sales skills
  • Proven experience in customer relationship management
  • Experience in managing and directing a sales team
  • Relevant product and industry knowledge.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem analysis and problem-solving.
  • Team-leadership.
  • Formal presentation skills.
  • Any Service Industry/Logistics Industry/Relocation Industry
  • A minimum of 10 to 15 years experience in the same role. 
  • Preferably from within logistics or similar industry
  • Candidates who can join on immediate basis will be given preference.
